BUTTERFLIES FOR A CAUSE
An evening with Cathy Guetta in support of Sickle Cell
Saint-Tropez | 16 July 2026
Every so often, we meet a woman who seems to embody everything the butterfly has always meant to us.
Transformation. Freedom. Strength. Light.
For many years, Cathy Guetta has been one of those women.
She has long been a friend and supporter of Morpho + Luna, but above all she has been a source of inspiration. A woman of extraordinary generosity, boundless energy, and unmistakable charisma, who has lived many lives while remaining deeply herself. She has that rare ability to bring people together, not simply to celebrate, but to create something meaningful.

At Morpho + Luna, the butterfly has always represented duality.
The vibrant Morpho, radiant and fearless. The Luna moth, quieter, contemplative, drawn to the moon. Two different expressions of the same feminine spirit. Two forces that coexist within every woman.
Perhaps this is why we have always felt such a natural affinity with Cathy. She embodies the colourful confidence of the Morpho, while reminding us that true strength is always accompanied by generosity. She has chosen to channel her remarkable energy into something far greater than herself: bringing together friends, artists, entrepreneurs, and philanthropists in support of children living with sickle cell disease.

On 16 July 2026, beneath the Mediterranean sky at Nikki Beach Saint-Tropez, Cathy hosted the second edition of Cathy Guetta for Sickle Cell. The evening brought together guests and partners in support of the International Sickle Cell Fund, united by a shared commitment to improving access to diagnosis, treatment, and care for children living with sickle cell disease across Africa.
For Morpho + Luna, contributing a special prize to the charity raffle felt less like a collaboration than a continuation of a friendship.
By the close of the evening, more than €500,000 had been raised, helping to train doctors across 14 African countries and provide thousands of paediatric treatments for children living with severe forms of sickle cell disease. Together, these efforts will help improve the lives of more than 8,350 children, transforming generosity into lasting, tangible impact.

Reflecting on the evening, Cathy shared:
“I’m deeply grateful to every guest, partner, and friend who made this possible. Together, we can change lives.”
Few words could better express what the evening came to represent: a celebration of generosity, community, and hope.
There are women who leave the world a little brighter simply by bringing people together with kindness, conviction, and generosity. Cathy is undoubtedly one of them.
At Morpho + Luna, we have always believed that beauty finds its greatest purpose when it is shared. Through friendship. Through generosity. Through women who quietly inspire one another.
Here’s to women who remind us that beauty is not only something we wear, it is something we pass on.
With love,
Cécile and the Morpho + Luna Team
